How about the "System Volume Information" folder.. by ironblood 2004-02-10 16:19:46
I had just finished building my parents' windows box, and had barely got the thing running enough to download drivers, progs, etc. they needed, when my brother decides he REALLY needs to check his email and couldn't wait for me to install virus protection.

When I do, as part of the installation is a full scan, I get a warning of a virus in the "C:\System Volume Information" folder. It took three tries to get rid of it! I couldn't even browse into it to delete the offending files via explorer nor cmd prompt - explorer refuses to enter, and cmd.exe only sees it as an empty folder.

Morale of the story: browsing in windows without protection is BAD!
