I read something about those people a while ago in a German mag (Stern... terrible rag, I know). Disgusting, sick people.
They described how those pedophiles do it: they try to find boys preferably with single mothers, and then try to become 'friends' with them, so the mother will be glad there's someone taking a father-like role, taking the boy on excursions and stuff. The usual case seems to be that while what he's *actually* doing is painfully obvious, the mother doesn't want to see it because her son is getting some attention and care that she often can't give him because of full-time work.
Not saying this is true for all child abuse cases, but the article was about a certain scene of such 'boylovers' that is quite active in Germany.
*shudder*
terrible though. I try to control my knee-jerk emotional reactions, but it does seem to be impossible to stop such people without very drastic measures. |
