I need to remember that phrase and present it to you in some years *gg*
However.. one example for why I found it boring was the very beginning... Galactica is a space ship that is a museum, that is being decommissioned, so cameras are set up, and someone is making a long meaningful speech about what that war meant for humanity while also addressing the problems a father has with his son, and of course it is brilliant and everyone applaudes and.. and...and.. and.. (I probably failed to make clear what I mean by this sentence.. it's probably more understanding when it's being emphasized accordingly)
Again.. it's not about meaning.. I really hate it when people sacrifice plot for big *kaboooms* just because they think the audience will like it.
On the other hand.. everything has been said and I really need to go to bed..
Bye,
StarWarrior
P.S.: the thing probably was that nothing actually happened in the first part of the movie.. if I wouldn't have known what would happen beforehand, I wouldn't have known what to wait for.. The suspension was pretty poor I think... (if I remember correctly)... but enough for today.. bye |
