Drive cloning NT'ish problem by LooseChanj2004-02-10 13:38:59
the drive letter is set wrong by astro-g 2004-02-10 13:58:53
windows boots using ntloader, wich is launched by what-ever is is you have running as a boot loader and seems to be largely sef contained, or else use relative paths to other files, but the logon scripts use absolute windows paths, and if the drive letter is wrong, it cant log you on.

somebody else will know more than me.
I thik you can re-install windows over itself and it will fix the paths without riuning your settings. but you will end up with silly drive letters.

check search.support.microsoft.com for
windows 2000 - 'channging the letter of your boot drive'
