I was expecting something with the depth of "Manufacturing Consent". This was lighter fare, and sometimes -- especially in the earlier parts -- suffered from over-simplification. On the other hand, it was covering a lot of ground in 2&1/2 hours. Hopefully, the book will fill in some of the gaps. It's still worth a look -- and it is turning out to be popular. I was talking to a local Cinemark theatre manager (about whether it would still be showing next week) and he was surprised at how well it's still bringing in the audience.
