I'm not saying don't hold the greedy accountable by subbywan 2004-02-10 11:35:24
I'm saying that it would be nice to have a country where the avg level of education is a 4yr degree.

Of course, that assumes that the schools issuing said degree are worth the paper the degree is printed on.

Upping the standards is going to be people thinking. We'll get a few entrepeneurs who will do something good and perhaps come up with a way to change all of this. Hell, they may already have come up with a way, but who listens to a HS graduate who flips burgers because they don't have a piece of paper saying they're the best thing since the sun was first created?

Upping our level of education would help the US a *lot*
