it's pretty hard to get a good response anyway. You're never going to get a good bass out of a speaker less than one inch across, no matter what you try. The newer ones aren't that bad - this thing can play mp3s and wavs as the ringtone, but to be honest I'm probably going to leave it as the default "telephone ring" Might switch to a telephone bell though, because nobody else is going to have that!
