Where in the Data Protection Act... by Trinity_Quasar2004-02-10 08:13:59

The only relevant law is to do with filming by Tomo 2004-02-10 10:46:50
In public places you can film what and who you like.

On private property you *may* need permission, depending on what relationship you have with the owners.
For filming in a random location, you *do* need permission.
If you are a student or employee at the institution it's a little more vague.

Basically, it's possible that they can prevent you from taking the photographs, BUT it is NOT anything to do with the Data Protection Act 1998.
