When my friend and I bogged the mail server in college, it was on a Novell network in a DOS-based copy of WordPerfect Office that we did this. WP Office was used exclusively as the mail client at that college until around 1997 when they switched to a Windows based network and moved the email access over to Groupwise instead. Personally, I preferred WP Office, despite the fact that we could totally bog the server by setting up a single rule in the client. ;) Alan Lafond
