(or was that 6), I was shouted down by the entire DNS community, both sides. There is actually some value-add to having a default service. But the technical issue is a major problem. Every mail system on the Internet will break now. Granted, this is largely due to asusmptions that could have been made better, by lazy programmers.
Still, my suggestion involved a simple redirector and not a search engine. Search engines hadn't the popularity then as they have now. |
