How do you say "happy birthday" to someone by skeptic2004-02-10 03:50:13

my mother's life was likely prolonged by taking 1 or 2 oz of wheat grass extract every morning (the doctors had given her 2 months, and she lasted for slightly over 6). It also gave her additional energy.

She was also on antidepressants towards the end. Maybe her doctors can give your sister some?

I can sympathize with you - last thanksgiving was our *last* thanksgiving as a family - and it was made more poignant by that knowledge.

I guess the big difference in my case was that mom had tied up her loose ends, and really had no regrets about her life.

Maybe your sister can pick out a thing or 2 that she hasn't done on her "list" and you can help her do that. I don't know what else to suggest.

Strength and comfort to you all.
