An American Airlines pilot terrified passengers when he asked Christians to identify themselves and allegedly went on to call non-Christians "crazy".
I think I'd be afraid my plane had been hijacked by fundamentalist extremists. Or is this just par for the course in the U.S.?
American Airlines spokesman: "It falls along the lines of a personal level of sharing that may not be appropriate for one of our employees to do while on the job."
Ahh, personal sharing, well that's surely OK then. And if my pilot believes he's going to be taken up in a flying saucer once he drinks the magic kool-aid, and wants to share that with all the passengers, this may or may not be appropriate too, doubtless. Ah, it's all so borderline and unclear! |
