but that has been pointed out to me to be painfully false in my location (Ohio). Don't recall where the reference was but I'm pretty sure it was in the Ohio Revised Code. Generally a creditor will give you the extra "grace", mine don't for some reason tho so I make sure my stuff is in the mail two weeks early if possible. (my town's postal service is the pits)
