Aside from the fact that there wouldn't have been such a fuss in the first place: I really couldn't imagine any other court than an American one considering anything remotely connected to payment of damages for something like that.
Those plaintiffs shouldn't get any money out of this, instead a contempt of court fine would be in order for bothering the juridiction with such idiocy...
