We do need it, just not HOW it's currently working.

In theory, each state is divided into segments, with a representative for each segment. Based on how their district votes, they're supposed to cast their vote for whichever candidate got the most votes.

How it really works is that in some states, if a candidate gets a of segments, ALL the segments go to the candidate.

I don't know which states are like that, and don't have time to call around and research, but if anyone feels up to it, they should find out if their state works like that, and push them to change it.
