Can anyone tell me why shampoo by Naruki2004-02-05 12:27:39

In fact, I have a hairdresser who uses the little travel bottles of shampoo as soap, since they're not fit to put on your hair.

Since shampoo is thicker than soap film, you want to dilute it; otherwise, it'll leave a kind of "residue" that's unpleasant.

Also, if you're the kind of person who frequently needs to substitute one for the other, consider switching to Dr. Bronner's. It's a liquid soap that you can easily use on your hair; I typically keep a small bottle in my gym bag, so I only have to deal with one bottle to spill. The bottle also makes for fascinating reading, if you get bored in the shower with nothing to read.
