I hate my credit card company by niwikki2004-02-05 11:02:06
In that case mail the payment in today. by talon0720 2004-02-05 12:16:23
As long as it is postmarked by the due date, it HAS to be considered on time. A credit card company (which one escapes me now) was the target of a class action lawsuit because they counted payments received after the due date as late regardless of the postmark date, even though by law they must accept payments postmarked by the due date as on time. They were also up to some weasely $#!% like not counting anything received after 9:00 am as an on-time payment. Don't take this. If you make your payment on time and they still shaft you, call a lawyer, legal-aid, whatever. </soapbox>
