You say you never owned an N64, Playstation, Dreamcast, etc. So that means most of their games are new to you, and they're selling for cheap these days.
During my last trip through the States, I grabbed a Dreamcast for $15 USD at Electronics Boutique, and they had N64s and PS1s for approximately the same amount. I didn't want an N64 (only two decent games were ever made for that system to my knowledge: Goldeneye and Super Mario Kart) and I've already got a Playstation, but I'd never gotten around to picking up a Dreamcast, so I considered that something of a find. Especially since most of the games for that system are selling for an average of $5-$10 USD apiece.
There don't seem to be that many good games for the Dreamcast, though, so I'd suggest you grab yourself a PS1. There's still plenty of cool titles available for it, and aside from the slightly weaker graphics, the gameplay isn't all that different from what the PS2 offers. |
