Not at all. I am not BLINDLY loyal to an office. I am a thinking person, not a mindless drone who always follows the crowd. The very thought of doing so is abhorrent.
I'm really disappointed in you for thinking that:
a) "half or more of the US population agrees with the man on most issues"
b) I should respect a "fact"
c) I should follow the crowd
d) I _cannot_ admit when I am wrong, or even that I might be
e) I "categorically" call incorrect people stupid or deluded
f) I am "lacking in basic social courtesies"
g) ...
You know what? Screw that. Your mindless attack on me is so stupid and deluded that I'd be here all day trying to itemize everything that is wrong with it.
Do you have the slightest clue what "respect" is? Apparently not. You seem to think that we should all go around respecting light, loud farts, porn, foul language, or whatever concept you deem "intrinsicly worthy of respect" just because you say so.
I, on the other hand, disagree with you. Sorry to inform you, but that does not make me stupid or deluded. (I realize that most of your foolish diatribe against me was really directed at yourself, but it's still wrong.)
I respect DesertRat66, even though I disagree, often vehemently, with many of his views. So much for _that_ accusation.
