Especially as the Road Tax doesn't appear to get spent on the actual roads. The thing I don't get about the tax disc thing is this latest idea of fining you automatically if your disc expires by a couple of days. THIS WON'T CATCH THE REAL CRIMINALS! Because they didn't have a disc to start with, they are not on that database! The people who will end up paying that fine are those who genuinely forget to renew on time, or were on holiday during the time when they should have renewed and forget to do it before going.
