price check on old Dell Server by stacato 2004-02-05 02:48:30
my boss mentioned of getting rid of this old "Dell PowerEdge 2100/200" which has been collecting dust in some corner. Thing is full SCSI. Powered by a Pentium pro 200mhz, has 224mb Ram, 4.1 gig SCSI HDD, SCSI CD-Rom and a Tape Drive. Not sure about the working condition of the Tape Drive, nor am I sure if there are any tapes left available.

It looks like it has DIMMs but not sure if they are actually SDRam DIMMs. I am betting they will be DIMMs with EDO Ram on it (just like that other box i bought off here).

Now, I am not realy in need of such a system BUT if the price is good "WHY NOT?" right? So I am pondering. What would you pay for such a system?
