Walk up to the customs person who checks your passport and just act tired. Smile at them and ask them how their day is. Look and act like you're tired and just want to get some sleep. At the place where they check your bags, there's usually a quiet one. Bring something with you that you're allowed to, but that you act like you're not sure. I normally use a bottle of wine (go up to the guard -- "Oh, i'm not sure if this is ok, could you please tell me if I need to declare this ..."). Also go up and say that yeah you've been on a farm and get your shoes sprayed. I've found that if you volunteer a couple of things, you can walk in and out in almost no time.
