UK Ufie needs US advice by karaken122004-01-24 15:32:25
  A few cities I like by DaNutBall 2004-01-24 15:54:12
I would suggest the following:
  1. San Antonio, TX -- I like this because of the historical buildings (especially the Alamo which really isn't much)
  2. Albuquerque, NM -- if you really want to see what the southwest part of the US really is about
  3. Denver, CO -- "Mile High City"; you will be able to be in the middle of the (US) Rocky Mountains -- hit the slopes! Ski!
  4. Chicago -- 3rd largest US city; lots to do
  5. DC -- national capital as you already know; many sights to see.
  6. Boston, MA -- early settlements, "old" US
...and places I would avoid:
  1. Los Angelas, CA -- crowded, smog, other than Hollywood it's not worth it.
  2. Seattle, WA -- You will only be in the rain in March...
  3. Minneapolis-St. Paul, MN -- cold, and not many attractions for the tourist
Other than that I think you have some good places to go.
