question on reiserfs by varikin 2004-01-15 17:25:32
with my new computer (i am happy to finally have a new one, see post earlier) i have a 160g drive, found and partitioned thanks to help earlier today. Now my question is on reading about ext3 and reiserfs, reiserfs is suppose to be much fast on large drives. what quantifies a "large" drive. 160g large or raid arrays of terrabyte size for servers? in other words, is there a reason for reiserfs or is ext3 still decsent at this size?

Thanks
Varikin
