which is not hard to do

My understanding is that it is virtually impossible to prove that DNA is yours... it is best used to prove innocence rather than guilt. As for odds that it may be yours - I can think of two things

-however small the odds they are still a "shadow" of doubt arent they?
-people (again this is only what I heard I do not know anybody) have been convicted on the basis of DNA evidence only to be found innocent much later.
