It isn't "innocent" Slamlander is having trouble comprehending, it is the difference between being found "not guilty" and being "Proven innocent".

That innocent means "not guilty" does Not mean that being Found "not guilty" means the same as being "Proven Innocent".

A jury decision of "not guilty" Does Not mean "innocent". It means not proven to be guilty, and therefore presumed, Not Proved, innocent before the law. Nothing more, nothing less.
