Little Shamaya and Shariffa are gone by SnappingTurtle 2006-11-19 12:55:59
Well, social services came and took away little Shamaya and Shariffa. I knew it was about to happen, hence my anxiety.

Any doubts I may have had about Shawna's inability to parent were wiped away by her parting comments. As Shamaya walked up to Shawna to hug goodbye, Shawna refused to hug her and said "I'm not gonna hug you, this is all your fault." (Shamaya is 6 years old.)

Shamaya didn't seem upset at all about being taken away.

I don't know if Starflower and I will be able to see Shamaya and Shariffa. We're not going to be able to foster in the near future, but we're looking into the possibility of establishing some kind of Big Sister arrangement so that we can come visit them.
