and I didn't label my words carefully enough. It is what I believe to be just. But it also reflects other writing that I have seen on the matter. Current implementation is not that way.

As for the rest, I also agree, good point. It changes the focus minutely. The point remains that there was enough serious doubt that guilt could not be determined. It seems ludicrous that he could be found not guilty in criminal court and convicted in civil.

I have other issues with the civil system. I've won 100% of my cases but, many of them shouldn't have come up in the first place. Especially the corporate blackmail ones, on behalf of the shareholders things ... it cost me $3000 to prove that there were no public shareholders in a privately held delaware corp.

Getting convictions in civil court is too easy.
