RTCW:ET discussion by Kickstart2004-01-15 11:30:09
I'd like to play with more sneaking by Kickstart2004-01-15 11:32:08
if you do hiding... by ParityBit 2004-01-15 11:48:27
please think of the following.

- dont hide where your uniform is a contrast to the background (example allies in the grass or axis on the ground of roofs on siwa oasis)

- dont lurk ...they will find you, do your shot and move swift to an other place.

- remember the face of view is 90 degrees standart in RtCW:ET, so it can happen that you think you hide behind a tree, but you dont. (see my diary on how to modify that)

-remember we have no punkbuster running on that server so people could run some "illegal" customation that are not allowed in several RtCW:ET leagues (see my diary for examples).
note: im not talking about cheating here, just about maxing out the graphical adavantages. cheating would be for example having a mod running where the uniforms are bright pink and neon green (please dont do so ...it kills only the fun of the game).

if sniping would be realistic any headshot, no matter what weapon would be deadly (with an FG42 you need most of the times 2 headshots for maximum effect)

but anyway...enjoy the game

:)
