I tend to slaughter field ops (they have to stand still to aim their artillery strikes and then I drill them a third eye.) It's not too often they get me while I'm in sniper mode with one of their infamous strikes. As for Gold Rush do what I do: use another exit! The second one (right behind where people usually spawns) gives you a wider view of the field so you're less likely to get blind-sided. I would also recommend asking before you join a team about how serious the play is. When DaNutBall is playing it's downright hardcore, guaranteed. TMK also gives excellent walkthroughs, so if he's playing and you're having a hard time with the map speak up. We've been trying to be nicer after some recent discussions here.
