We have a weird situation at work. Some of our new workstations are running XP Professional and they won't listen to new Environment Variable" settings. We can do the "My Computer/Properties" thing to create either System or Profile variables, and they show up there even after rebooting. But they never show up in DOS and the GUI applications we run also can't find them.
