| i woke up this morning and had a feeling that we would have a snow day, but since i don't have a tv in my room, and i didn't feel like starting up my laptop, i tried to check on my cell phone. alas, all the sites for school closings were too big to load with my cell phones pathetic memory. so, i had to get up and check. it turns out that my school was closed, but i didn't want to go through this cycle again tomorrow. so i whipped up a nice little script in php that grabs the status of my school and four of my friend's schools.
