so much bad was also in the closet, as SnappingTurtle's post pointed out. A society that hides so much about something so basic to everyone is irrational. Back when it wasn't spoken of, neither were the sexual abuse of children and rapes were blamed on the victim, homosexuality could get you killed more often than now. Trust me, it wasn't good for society as a whole.
I have a problem with how sex is devalued and cheapened by the media, but not that they deal with it openly.
Really, just state your case and let the chips fall where they may. This community is a treasure trove of varied opinions and experience that you shouldn't sell short. Give us credit. |
