...you would LOVE Zurich... About "athletic-minded": We DO have a city marathon. We DO have an almost completed web of bike-routes - though you will have to keep in mind that the terrain is not really all flat, here :-). History and heritage aplenty! We have a lake with clean water (constantly tested) and fish. Our mountain skyline on a "foehny" day is surely one of the most spectacular you will see anywhere. Green space from golf-course to dense wood all around and parks in the middle. Mild winters? Well, maybe compared to canada... There are. And then there are not. But we seldom get less than -10°C. Warm summers - mostly. A bit too much rain for my taste. Not only all kinds of coffee shops, but a wide variety of bars, clubs, and whatnot. Do come by and take a look! (end of commercial :-).)
