Very enjoyable. Having read some spoilers in advance, I knew some of what to expect, but that didn't matter. Will actually get around to finishing the second and third books to see what was supposed to happen :-) Battle scenes: neat! Eowyn (sp?)... yeah! Legless & Gimli & Count von Count... <smile> Personal chest rumbling from 'beacon'.... cool. Flashbacks to SENSURROUND in Earthquake! GoodByeGoodByeGoodBye... agree with consensus. Looking forward to November and the extended version.
