there were lots of things you couldn't say, or that are applied different to some people than to others. for example, if you ever threaten a past/present US president, you're on the Secret Service watch list for life. To a normal citizen, for it to be a valid threat, you have to have the means of carrying through with your threat. Not so with the President. That's just one example, but I know I've raise others in the past and I'm sure other people can think of other examples.
