Sing yourself a so-fa scale or two a the beginning of a practice (do re mi fa so etc.), and a couple backwards as well.
Another one, that my choirmaster passively taught me, was to sing it up then down increasing the number of notes you sing wevry time through until you have a full scale and then agin in the other direction (so like, "do, do re do, do re mi re do, ... do re mi fa so la ti do(+) ti la so fa mi re do" and then "do(+), do(+) ti do(+)" etc).
Also singing a lot of Gregorian chant (pretty much everything is single interval) helps ;-) - although I've noticed that people who do this tend towards a more classical voice. |
