it might be big enough to have on it the voice software. I'm not sure what the latest tech in that is but I know there are two types. One is voice control(which is now used in say voice controlled dictation/typing) and the other is voice announce. Macs can do that but I think pc's can as well. Maybe some of the software here(this is windows but linux has like stuff too) would work on a usb drive mp3 player. The disks ones don't talk but I've just seen the cheaper cd type mp3 players like the one I own. Some more expensive ones for all I know might have speach. Another source to find out would to be to call your local chapter of the blind institute as they do have resources for a variety of adaptive technology.
