Choosing an MP3 player for a blind person by JPaganel2004-01-13 15:43:00
ok question... by Celticess 2004-01-13 15:51:46
do you mean portable mp3 device or do you mean computer wise? You can use computer voice control software in linux and window and probably in mac OS too... for the portable provided they are physicall capable they will learn instinctively where the buttons are and stuff. However as you know that doesn't help with the LCD which they wont see and they'll have to rely on their counting and memorization skills. However the usb ones they could program with a computer perhaps or perhaps somewhere out there there is one that speaks and will announce a track number. But those likely would be expensive.
