I just finished A Hymn Before Battle	by Egaeus	2004-01-13 15:23:27
on the recommendation of several of you guys. I'm sorry, but it stunk. Derivative characters, poor character development, poor relationship development, dead-end subplots, and brain-dead technical mistakes. The story had some potential, but John Ringo just crapped all over it with his writing. It's like some stupid action flick that you go and watch just for the explosions. If you want to know particular complaints, I'll make a subthread to prevent accidental spoilers.
