I guess this means that I will have to get a new motherboard... or something.

Whatever you do, don't overclock a 600MHz Celeron to 1200MHz. They overheat. Disastrously.
Until I get a new board, I will be consigned to this Power Mac 5400. Urgh. <Pitr> Is.. not... Linux... </Pitr>
