Yeah, I couldn't help saying that. That synonyms can often but not always be intechanged is part of the definition of synonym-they are nearly the same in meaning, not identical. At any rate, the nuances of "arguing" don't necessarily include the element of hostility dire_lobo was aiming for, and there are words that do. That is all. _{I almost said "Oh, come on" but thought butter, er, better of it.}
