He said it in April, and nobody cared then. OK, he's a pillock. But this whole controversy is an artificial tabloid waste of space. Actually, I think there is a good chance it is a clever strategy by the BBC to divert attention from the result of the Hutton Inquiry. Conspiracy theorist? Me?
