Which I wanted to point out with the JFK reference. If it is OK to assissinate Saddam, then it would have been OK to assassinate JFK. And the end result of the acceptance of assassination as an acceptable tool would result in shadow leadership, where nobody with real power would want to be seen asserting it.

With that kind of anonymity, I don't think responsible leadership would be very common.
