I 've been told a little story about a waiter with a more subtle sense of humour:
After being bossed around by a client, he asked "if anyone would like some more peas?". The particular client smiles, and asks him "Yes please, one single pea"
On which the waiter, smiling but decidedly filling mr-hyde's plate answers: "I'm really sorry sir, they go by the dozen"
Would this lead to a law suit in USA? In France or Belgium it doesn't. |
