is a system monitor. The bubbles show cpu activity I think, the water shows memory used or something, and the fish represent network traffic. That is the app on your left hand side in the pic. The one at the bottom of the screen with water is "sherman's Aquarium" and it uses the "sherman's" comic character(I think it's shermans lagoon or something). It mostly just looks cute but it can also show temps or time in metric.
