no not disney by Celticess 2003-12-21 20:43:11
disney doens't care one way or another as long as their name is in lights and they make sales. I also know someone that works there and did their marketing(my sons aunt on his dads side)... It was news programs and pet organizations here that came out to raise awareness on things. Also the media found the hype in the US intresting and picked up the stories off the wire I guess.

Bottom line with disney is there is no such thing as bad PR for them at this point. They are huge and they take the attitude of "its not our fault how people take our movies or what idea's they get." They are tho very good with seriously ill kids. I know this via my sons aunt and also have heard it from wish granting organizations... But beyond that I don't necisarily think that highly of disney for some of its things. Reciently didn't it get into some problems over one of it's coasters not being properly maintained causing death? I also went to disney land when I was around 12... So I do have a feel for the place or rather what it used to be. It has changed over the years a little bit as in it's got bigger. But still it's powerful and has gotten almost to the stage of not having to play by any rules but their own. I think that happens with any huge company til something nasty happens and they get knocked down a notch.
