| only the big guy in the sky can (supposedly) instanteniously create and change the physical traits of species. those large eyes developed over a LONG time, and the people responsible for it had no idea that bigger eyes would eventually result in blindeness. so, while the end result of selective breeding of the species by many generations of humans was deffinitely a negative one, it can in no way be considered "cruelty". |
