It is a new Compaq notebook...a 2190US. That is to a 2581US . looks the same ( I think ) but mine is 2.4Ghz and 40 Gb HD. cost ~$1100 ( with out a few extras ) but has $450 in rebates. Now I have to learn XP. I got online to Ufiedom earlier on it. Just need to work out kinks of using IE6(?). Could use Netscape 6.2 but maybe try to find my copy of Net7.x .
