sprouting from various conversations in #sporks on naming computers, i thought i'd ask this here.
i only have 3 computers and no real convention for naming them.
Bobbo / Desktop (freebsd/win2k - main desktop computer)
TiDesktop (wife's computer)
Voltron (laptop, gentoo, currently upgrading to gentoo-dev-soures-2.6.0 from 2.6.0-test9)
i know several of you have quite extensive home networks and have all the machines named in some scheme or another, so what are they? and if you work with large numbers of computers with interesting names, what are they? |
